LYD seems out of shape after becoming a dad, but that's to be expected. The video almost reminds me of KKK playing singles haha!
LYD with PG vs YYS and the ever hilarious Ha TaeKwon at the same exhibition. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
Invincible? Puh-leeeze. You wanna see a sick comeback, watch the 2010 Hong Kong Open final. Also, JJS had a couple of strong points that FHF didnt (pretty crazy defense, strong disguised drop shot), so it's not like there was a huge difference in their partner's levels...the 2012 OG are a clear example of LYD failing to cope with the pressure of expectation. That SF was a damn shame if you had watched them dominate the SS circuit in the earlier half of the year, only stopped at the Korea Open by FHF/CY iirc. That loss to BoMo was such a letdown, as was the Danes' attitude and play in the final. But I guess that tournament (and the 2011 WC) are food examples of why YYS/LYD didnt win a major title either, since YYS seems to share that weakness at really big tournaments (almost messed up a sure win in the '11 WC SF because he got nervous at the end). In advance: I'm a big fan of LYD, so take this as the exaggeration it is
But don't you see how Lee Yong Dae put the entire tour in depression in 2015-16 with a strong Yoo Yeon Seong who is only 60% of prime Foo Haifeng. Do you know, I jumped off the FHF/ZN hype train because of Lee Yong Dae. I was depressed seeing him eating my Zhang Nan and was toying with error prone Foo. And let's be honest, Foo is mentally very very strong in big tournaments and EXACTLY someone who could pull LYD up during rough times. I have seen JJS but he is not the same offensive thunderstorm as Foo.
