I'm in something of a badminton wasteland, which means I am the most experienced member in the club I have no problem using the Titan for almost 3 hours of non stop play so fatigue and arm pain aren't an issue, and it's still my favorite racket so far.
If you are a happy future proof yourself and buy another... I always have 2 or 3 of exactly the same go to racket. Worry about pulling the trigger on anything new once the reviews are in and folks are going crazy for it.
I have 2 Titans and playing the Best badminton in years. This racked is in my opinion the best racket for my style of play. Light Head and Stiff Shaft.... Im smashing a lot harder and from more acute angles..... its really fast to pick up those opposition smashes. I would not go for a more flex-i shaft, I think that would bugger up the accuracy.... Dink let us know what the new Racket is like with a stiffer shaft....
I vote for a deep burgundy /black cherry color with black lettering this round. Think it would look sweet with a white wrap and strings. See if I can figure how to use a program to do up a design and win some swag from Panda. Figure the young handy computer folks would have already got some designs in to start courting his keen eye.
Bought my boy a Titan for his birthday. Dan the Panda-man helped pick complimentary specs to complement his usual Revelation but I'll admit I was doubtful about how similar they would be. We took the Titan for a test drive today. Looks classy in understated grey contrasted with rich red LiNing #1 strings, expertly strung. (Love the juicy big knots, Dan!). Playing with the Titan was definitely different from the Rev but after two games my son adjusted and was playing well. He liked the power and solid touch. At this point he feels that the Revelation still wins on precision. Defense was equally good. I had a go with each racket, too. The Titan was not as stiff as I thought it would be. And although it has a balanced BP, it hit like a heavier racket. Plenty mobile for defense and robust enough for singles or doubles. The Titan is definitely an accessible racket for anyone, especially at balanced specs. But it is likely a beast at head-heavy specs, for those with the wrists to handle it. Another fine product from the mind of Dinkalot.
I ordered through Dan as Mark was not putting in any orders for the UK at the time. For Ireland its pretty much random you never know until. You either get your Parcel or you get a note to say you owe X amount in tax. So far no import tax Note: that is from the USA. No tax from UK/Europe

Bought the Titan off the Sale DinkAlot was having. Racket of Choice has been the ARC10 for some time. Titan Specs: 83g, BP 292mm dry. ZM66F @ 25LBs, stringing by DinkAlot (or one of his associates? either way, I like ) Removed original overgrip, then 1 layer of Single wrapped grip + 1 layer of douple wrapped overgrip. The balance felt close enough to my ARC10's when swinging, would classify the racket as slightly head heavy. Weight difference is slightly noticeable when switching between rackets, the Titan being maybe a bit lighter. Maneuverability is still there, the lightness of the racket compensates for that quite well. Moving the racket around for defense and net drops is not cumbersome at all. Also, the Titan can be classified as Stiff+ IMO, but it doesn't play like it. Dink mentioned that the shaft would feel like its helping the player, and after playing a couple sessions I agree. Clears are near effortless, whether overhead or underhand. The Titan also has decent punch even when slightly unprepared, meaning Punch clears and drives can shine. Smashes are a beauty with this racket, as that Box Frame + Shaft combo provide a high power capability. I am not a powerful player, but compared with the ARC10, smashes were faster and had better angles. Reducing the head heavy nature of the AT700/AT900P may have slightly reduced the easier power generation, but the user is rewarded with ease of use/ easier recovery. Even though the racket hits bombs, hitting multiple smashes while crossing the court was not as demanding as a AT700. The real winner of the racket is how solid it feels. The racket head is extremely stable, and the feedback of the racket is well rounded. Moving back to other rackets feels . . . almost hollow? Further, the stability helps a lot with accuracy whether it be for drives or drops, both front and back court. Overall, I would rate this racket quite well. The racket's stability and feel are top notch. DinkAlot made a winner with this racket.
