Jonatan and Ginting have beaten the weakest IND MS in the team, Ajay Jayaram

INA WS can make a surprise to beat DEN WS. We just need a must win in MD, and XD.

Chae isnt that good is she?? recent matches against all the possible pairs in this tourney.
But i guess as Clely mentioned KGJ is no longer part of KOR Association. So i can see why they droped SSC

in team tourneys its not how many tourneys have you won or how high your rankings are, its the recent matches agaisnt the possible pairs that matters.

have you looked at h2h's against these pairs? either way i'd prefer a solid pairing over a pairing that have never really committed to XD only really got good results in a few tournaments just this year? chae/choi were consistently reaching SF's last year..

shin with both her partners hasn't been playing well lately.. so

either way i don't think korea have a chance of getting past the QF's lol

Yes I understand what you are trying to say, but is Chai ready for such a big team event, especially when the entire team is pretty weak, and these loosing recent records.
Anyway yeah your point is perfectly rational and something that anyone will pick as safe bet. As in the case of KBA but do, remember simple/safe never produce miracles

Satwik should play for IND in both men's doubles and mixed doubles as india's senior players are unable to compete with the top level. So it would be better to give him chance so that he can gain experience for future tournaments without caring about the outcome of the match. And also according to me he is the current national champion in men's doubles and mixed doubles category and he can still play better than india's senior players despite being a junior player.

If Lee Chong Wei can "survive" a ban in his 30s and come back to World No.1 in a year, young people should stop being a snowflake or just give up professional competition-- cos with an attitude like that, you're going to crack sooner than later...

I am dreaming Indonesia Juara again. It's been so long that I've forgotten how's the feeling of a fan whose team win anything. Thomas Cup 2002 was the last time we won in a team championship, wasn't it?

We were runner ups in 2016. So close. I've forgotten the feeling too. As much as I want it to happen, I don't think it will. We need a way stronger singles team. The days of Liem Swie King, Susi Susanti, Rudy Hartono, and Taufik Hidayat are long over. It's a good thing we had and still have an incredibly strong MD and XD doubles team

Yup, 2002 was the last time INA lifted Thomas Cup, 15 years ago, such a long time.

Nowadays badminton is more competitive and on right track to develop globally, no one can dominate all five categories. Even China starts to struggle in their once powerful category, WS & WD.

If Prannoy has opted out, I think it's because of low confidence and his form. In the PSPB team matches he struggled to beat Harsheel Dani and lost to Aditya Joshi. He probably doesn't want to embarrass himself and is working on training.
