Hi everybody, I will be in Thailand this weekend, and I have half a day for Bangkok before I go to Pattaya - biz trip. Advices needed: What can I see in Bangkok for half a day? What/where is a must see/do for Bangkok (not interested in She-male and those stuff).

Will be on biz trip to Melbourne after thailand, any suggestions for must see/do's? Thanks in advance.

It depends heavily on what your general preferences are. But I'd categorize these into two areas: shopping or culture. If you wish to do shopping, then go to WTC and MBK shopping centres (half a day is enough for both unless you're a real shop-a-holic ;) ). If you'd like to see some cultural stuff, then I'd go to the Grand Palace. It is the former residence of the Kings of Thailand.

I think all other places would require more time than you have.

Will be there for a week - maybe I should bring my racquet with me:rolleyes: - but I've managed to have two weekends there (actually one full weekend 25th/26th, and another half weekend july 2nd).

    I heard it's a very pretty city.
