Is one of the heads fatter? You can quite easily gain that distance from stringing alone. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
hey fellow players, i just want to put this out there (in case some of you are unaware). one of the best distributors of apacs out there is definitively my boy eddie. the website name is badmintonbay.com and it has great deals coupled with great, fast service. i ordered a bundle cuz why not and it was 30% off so i think it was a steal. if you are new, either buy a staff package, clearance or a pair of rackets, as these combinations will give you the best rates. I live in Canada and i ordered my 3 pack bundle consisting of the:featherweight 500, nano 9900, and z ziggler for 199 CAD. i also used bg80p string which were 12.06 CAD extra for EACH racket. and i closed the deal with two shirts because that would make me eligible for free shipping came to over 265 CAD. mine was 269 CAD. I think it was a great purchase! I expected it take a while but the shipment arrived in exactly eight days through fed ex. really fast! I bought it with a friend so the price was reasonable. i suggest you do the same. buy a couple of rackets with other people who also want a great deal so you too may be eligible for free shipping and great deals. hit me up if you have any questions relating my recent purchase. k-dawg out. ps. i am not sponsored by apacs, nor by badmintonbay.com. lol not good enough. i just think people deserve to know there is a great line of rackets for a considerably lower price when compared to its other competitive counterparts. Sport horizon cheaper and probably others. Did the three rackets + delivery and its 192 Cad... Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
Badmintonbay is definitely on the expensive side. I got a same racket from sports-horizon ebay for almost $40 CDN cheaper AND it had free shippping.
oh damn, here i was thinking i got a great deal. shiiiiiiiiiitttttt. i'll check out sports horizon right now. thanks bros
The blend series isn't a clone. It came before duora... Anyway picked up a blend pro II... Will give a short opinion on how it is after a couple of sessions. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
I like apacs virtuoso performance. Slighty head heavy with a small Isometric frame. That is why this racket is easy to manouver around the air and quite powerful too. But for more powerful smash, i prefer tantrum 200 II. Too bad that tantrum is an even balance racket. Maybe it would be more powerful if i use a lead tape.
Could someone recommend me a fast even framed apacs for an ex arcsaber z slash and bs12 control player please? He's fairly strong so can go slightly stiffer.
For ex user of bs12, my first recommendation is AVP and second is Tantrum 200 II. But none of this racket will give a same feel for your arcsaber z or bs12. Good luck
Agree with Tony, AVP should resembles BS12 well enough but not 100%. If prefer something stiffer with similar frame, look for Virtuoso Pro (Blue one not the new Pro II), it has a stiffer shaft with similar frame.
After reading what's posted here I got myself a AVP pro and featherweight 55. Gonna try if it's any good. Pricing wise is not cheap...for the same price one can get Yonex made in Japan rackets that are on sale. I even get better bags! Another think is no other brand will tell u max tension is 38Lbs! Really? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
I'm thinking of purchasing another racket for experimentation. Apacs has me intrigued because the rackets feel better in game than the 10dg or dg range I tried which can take much higher tension normally without going outside warranty. Since I can't find info on amazon, what are the rackets available that aren't too heavy (overall weight wise) but quite stiff? Not willing to throw too much money in tho so something relatively affordable 100-135 would be good.
100-135 as in MYR? Tantrum 200ii or Tantrum 500ii are pretty good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
