I mean if Shi Yuqi is badly injured, wouldn't it exaggerate the condition by continuing. Same happened to Xue Song last year. Shi Yuqi didn't continue to please fans only.

Winning All England after all the altercation with MF and his MCL knee injury, what a way to make a come back and show that he still has what it takes at 35.

How fast do they carve the name on the trophy?
It was a very short time compared to football.

Congratulations to Lee Chong Wei. Completely outplayed Shi Yuqi who is at least 14 year younger than LCW. Keep up the good work. Nice to see him back to the top again.

What a brilliant case of triumph over adversity!!
Despite best efforts of Morten Frost to try sabotage and push Lcw towards retirement, he still comes out as a true champion!!

Lol, it was Morten Frost who found Hendrawan to coach Lee Chong Wei after his successive losses to Chen Long, to give us this new and improved 30+ Lee Chong Wei!

You haven't been keeping up with Lee Chong Wei's development at all, have you? In fact, it was Morten Frost who "discovered" Lee Chong Wei and got him into the national team when Frost was first coaching M''sia...

After asking him through Hendrawan when he's retiring, ignoring his wish for changing slippery mats, and not letting his coach TSB to be with him in Japan Open.

MF should reflect on how he's been treating LCW. LCW just gave glory to his nation as champion in the oldest badminton tournament as on of the more older player.

Had that kind of twisted ankle fall before. It is not ready that bad as you think. It is possible to continue, ankle will be a little pain and numb with the after shock. Just need to make sure good icing after and should be gone in less than a week in most cases. If one is really "badly injured" there is no way to continue at all because every step will be an agony move that you will just fall again and impossible to do the lunging that he did in the end.

His victory speech was a big middle finger to Frosty.

Telling him to try and stop him from coming back next year!!!

He aint retiring anytime soon so Frost best to relaize that quickly or he can say sayoonara to his job.

Shi Yuqi, that's what Chen Long suffered at LCW's hands in the beginning, for several meetings, before he learned how to turn the tables on him. This is only your second drubbing and you had better learned fast.
