Alberto Alvin Yulianto and Ikhsan Leonardo Emanuel Rumbay just won U-17 and U-19 Djarum Sirnas Semarang.
Ivana Lie praised Alberto Alvin highly, saying that he has a complete shots variation, great stamina/fitness, and nice footwork. But he has to develop his jumping smash and power.

Congratulation to Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo for getting the silver medal of World Junior Championship 2016.
tbh, I am really surprised with his result. But, after watching his performances, I believe, he has what it takes to be a top player one day.
Many coaches like his attitude in training.

His skill is already very good. With experience, his maturity in game play will definitely increase. I hope he can soon catch his seniors in National Team. With Panji Ahmad Maulana winning the Malaysia International Challenge last week, Indonesia has another 2 interesting upcoming talents.

Meanwhile, although Rinov Rivaldy, Andika Ramadiansyah, Tania Oktaviani, and Apriani Rahayu failed to get a medal, I still believe that they are some serious top talents.

Silver is not good enough. He had a chance to close out the 1st set in the final.

Yes definitely love upcoming talents from Panji, Chico, Apriani Rahayu, Tania and Ramadiansyah. Honestly i am not big fans of Rinov. Chico definitely need to gain some more power but skillwise, lovely. Apriani still quite raw but reminds me of CQC, unthyphically of indonesian WD or XD player.

Silver is not good enough ?? last time Indonesia got a silver medal in WJC MS was 2007 (9 YEARS AGO) when Tommy Sugiarto lost to Hong Ji Hoon. When was the last time we got gold in WJC MS ?? CMIIW, from what I remember, It was in 2002.

Rinov is still quite young. 17 yo. He can only improve. Once his power improve along with his age, he will look good. He can still feature in WJC next year. I agree, Apriani is very talented. It can be seen clearly. I do have high hope on her. I hope she can join National Team and keep improving.

I think silver is fine. We can see from the past, those who won gold in WJC need not always be that succesful, in fact the silver or bronze medalist often do better.

Just take look at Hong Ji Hoon, Zulkifli, Bao Chun Lai (and other Chinese winners, like WZM, Tian Houwei)

Lin Dan, LCW did not win the WJC.

Yes, tbh, I consider everyone who are in the QF of WJC as talented players. I dont care if they got a medal or not.
If they can go through the QF of WJC, it is a good sign that he/she has some talents. At least, they already have the basic skills to succeed in the senior level.

Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei were bronze medalist of WJC 2000. They lost to Bao Chunlai and Sony Dwi Kuncoro. All of these 4 players managed a successful badminton career.

Ikhsan Leonardo Emanuel Rumbay has just won (again) the U-19 Djarum Premier National Circuit Surabaya, beating the highly-rated Mutiara boy Mochamad Rehan Diaz.

Keep in mind, Ikhsan is only 16 yo. Born in 2000.

The APACS Junior Master 2016 is started today.
With Ramadhani M. Zulkifli confirmed to be a part of Pelatnas 2017 after winning the national championship 2016, the U-19 title of this Junior Master will be chased by Mochamad Rehan Diaz, Ikhsan Leonardo Emanuel Rumbay, Gatjra Piliang Fiqillahi Cupu and Tri Haryanto.

Meanwhile, Alberto Alvin Yulianto will be the hottest favourite to win the U-17 MS title. His main rivals, Gatjra and Ikhsan join the U-19 group.
The wonderkid Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto (Son of INA legend and Sydney Olympic silver medallist, Tri Kusharjanto) will also be competing in this tourney. Although I think that It is too soon for him to join Pelatnas next year (the finalist will be an intern in Pelatnas for 6 months).

I see also Alfandy Rizky, Jaya Raya boy, as a top MD/XD talent. Let's see if he can win this junior master.

Gregoria Mariska has just got her first GPG final in India GPG 2017.
I hope she can improve a lot this year. Her attacking game is better than other Pelatnas WS.

Ikhsan Imanuel Leonardo got a pretty successful tournament journeys in Brazil and Peru International Series. He became runner ups in both touneys. Alberto Alvin became Semifinalist in Peru IS, lost to Ikhsan.

Good decision by PBSI to send them to these kind of tourneys to gain some experiences.

Gregoria Mariska has just won Banthongyord Thailand Junior International Challenge by beating the so called Ratchanok Inthanon's successor, Chaiwan Pattarasuda 21-14 21-11. So far, Gregoria is the only indonesia girls who can win over Chaiwan.

I watched them live at Indonesia SSP this year, beating Luo/Luo at R1. They have amazing fighting spirit and they did very well at the last AJC. Looking forward to bright future with them.

I don't see them play any GPG or GP. Do you think they should join more of this event?
They are only 17/16 (17-to-be this year) for sure, the same goes to the like of Chen Qingchen, Shin Seung Chan, Lee So Hee
They have been sent to GPG, and even SSP when they are 17

This may help improve their experience against the seniors
