Well. There's no reason to go to 402DX anymore over GR334. Production process of 334 has changed after complaints by all the pros who used it. I had gotten a few of the latest stock here from the distributor a month or so back and when I finally used it I found it to be extremely elastic now. A far cry from the original ones I started using since 2014. So I asked my local distributor whether the manufacturer changed or did they change the formula in the production. He said it was changed due to feedback from the pros on the latest batch they had received as being so inelastic that they couldn't apply the grips on properly to their own desired style, thus they returned everything and victor quickly changed the formula.
Where did you get these new elastic ones?! The inelast...icity was the only thing stopping me from going to this from the AC402DX. I'm in a position to order quite a few at the moment...
Bit of a nut-ache from my part of the world - don't know who's got the new ones and who's dumping the old ones!
shameless promotion: I'm selling of a few: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...or-gr334-thin-towel-grip-yellow-20pcs.166281/ I'm not quite sure if I have the flexy ones, I didn't have any problems wrapping
Has anyone tried the C1025 grip straight on the wood (g5)? How does the size compare to when it has original grip still on and a layer of Yonex Super Grap? Also how does it feel straight over wood because i understand the C1025 is quite thick compared to other common towel grips. Thanks
my current wraps Victor GR334. very soft... About 1.2 USD per piece. (excluding shipping) cheap and good. the wrapping will take some practice to make it perfect as it is too thin. Add Victor grip powder (4USD) to enhance grip.. but the grip softness will be gone.
I love the new production of GR334. So much easier to grip compared to the old one. Sent from my Mi 4i using Tapatalk
