Was talking to a designer and explaining what stuff meant on the racket etc etc. He wanted to run something by you so said will do.
Wanted to make a Panda logo specific to you and put that on the butt cap ..smallish "created by " or similar to go with it. Could be a smiling Panda or whatever but specific just to you. Wanted to remove Panda Power from shaft to simplify and just have Titan. Do some simple work and maybe pop DC a bit more etc etc.
Worth pursuing or want to stay the way it was ?

Quick review as normal laptop is on the fritz
Went early and ended up coaching beginners which I don't mind.
    BG Power 80 at 26

Great touch racket is super sturdy as even had a clash and no mark. Reminds me
of a beefier MX80 but not quite as stiff. Timing was off for smashes as only tried a few
as didn't want to hurt a beginner. Drives were great and doing like a net kill there is lots
of power on tap. Drops and cross net shots were spot on.

I bought mostly 82g and BP of 294 ish so my normal 84g 292 Victor Thruster is still faster
by a bit so going to order lighter ones as for me going from lighter to heavier playing is tough.
I am sure the lighter Titan's will play better as the control is much better than the Thruster so
    was getting kinda addictive.

Good news is I sold all my extra rackets tonight to guys who had heavier rackets and found the Titan
was lighter and hit harder. So my initial impression is don't be worried about weight as very deceiving
    on this racket.

If your BP is normally say 295 I would go 290 and weight I would take off 6 grams or so. Think this is a
case that less is more. Going to order more hopefully 78g and 288 to 290 and give it another go. Bonus
is easy to sell as they have awesome control and guess who tested and bought like the power. Once I play
more can update as need a bit more time with it. cheers

Woah - that's news to me. Typical - I'm the recipient, and the LAST to know!

They've got to send me a letter asking for money, then process the money, then post the rackets... I'm thinking... Sept 28th.

Messed about and took off a a good chunk of overgrip I normally add and felt good in the hand as it took off a few grams and raised bp.
Racket is very easy to clear with so had to adjust as was going 2 ft longer than normal during warmups. Still has great feel and stability
when using. With the changes to the racket and my second outing with it my defense was so much better. Almost got one behind my back
which for me is a sign it is fast enough. Launched a few missiles today which was nice so my timing has adjusted to the slower swing speed. With the tapered shaft surprised a few how fast you can drive smashes back if you can catch them higher. Returned a few back harder than it was smashed. Fellow who bought one was playing and he keep mentioning the touch. So all in all a very good day and any doubt I had is now gone. Just ordered another and a handful for others as feedback has been very good so far. I liked the look of the Revelation but this one
plays better in my opinion. Have to get a few more sessions in to be sure but looking forward to more testing.. cheers

Mixed, especially with current partner, is all about dropshot and plinking it into space for me.Men's is where I try to put the shuttle through people.

Well....controlled shots set the rally up. The goal is to get a lift or weak shot to the net or mid court....and when you get a lift, put the shuttle through the lady :D
Case in point: although I play a very control-/tactics-based Mixed, even I got to prove at least 10 times that I left my smash at home yesterday. :D Still won, but was not satisfied with how many smashes to the lady made it back over the net^^

Looks like tomorrow will be the day I get the letter telling me which of my organs Royal Mail wants before they'll give me the things I paid for. I should be able to pick them up on the way to/from the gym if so.

Got Weds off work so I will get the unstrung frames boxed up - Sam, remind me to put that string reel in!

Customs charge has been paid and the rackets should - SHOULD - be with me tomorrow.

I'll go through and make sure all the specs are OK and email anybody who might need to greenlight any deviations.

I'd love to roll the dice and schdule a tomorrow collection, but knowing my luck Hermes would turn up before the rackets.

Or the rackets wouldn't turn up at all.

Taken one out for a quick gander, and it's a really nice old-school racket. OSP, wide-body-style hoop with a hint of Armortec inner groove around the top, double taper shaft, and the finish is excellent.
