personally i want LCW to finally get a top-of -world champ like this OG as a deserved reward for his long badminton career... yet if these 2 matches all won by the old guys, it really reflects that the standard of current MS players (after LD and LCW left) are very much below the 2 legends, how sad... LD & LCW could still dominate if they keep playing for another 2 years...
Agree. He is keeping a better reign on his emotions on court. I was critical of his emotional management on-court in his previous games. He looks to be improving this aspect game. Happy to see it! If he continues this improvement, i stand to be corrected.
I think both LD and LCW would have a better end to their careers than TH and PG. Other than CL, I don't think VA and KM can beat them consistently. Unless of course if they improve more. For Malaysia, BAM may want to keep LCW for as long as they possibly can. Those youngsters that they currently have are no where near other world class shuttlers like VA and KM.
I fear he just can't play with intensity for two consecutive games! Maybe not bc of stamina but somehow mentally... But to be honest I really would like to know what is going on inside him regarding these aspects...
Lin Dan and LCW even in their 30s can play much better than those players who are in their 20s. LCW can still play for a few years if he can remains injury free
