No it's not anywhere near MS level, but playing style is more similar to MS than any other woman has.
Marin's gung-ho mentality is working to her advantage, Sung JH looks nervous and not playing to her capacity.
Anybody who's that much of an ******* on court is not a nice person. I wont presume to know her on a personal level, but I assure you she's not a genuinely nice person. Maybe if it's easy and suits her purpose, but if you can discard that so easily and behave like her on court, you can be all smiles when you're training, it doesn't make up for it. Being nice or decent is not something you do part-time. You are, or you aren't, and while nice people can make errors, this isn't her losing her temper once. It's a calculated tactical approach and Badminton suffers for it.
I swear she was feeling sorry for herself at the beginning of set 2. Girl; that's not how you win medals.
Their head-to-head record is 5-1 to Marin, Marin winning last 3 matches. Where does your claim come from?
Only time SJH ever beat Marin was at the German Open, when Marin let that umpire/red card incident get to her.
woohoo....sounds like you are on a roll....what a write-up, you must be inspired by Justin writing essay
wow CM at full force... Sad that RI and TTY are out... :/ Still the most skillful players to watch imo! Who am I cheering for now? I think WYH or Okuhara
Yes, I believe so, just that I'm a bit concerned about LXR putting too much pressure on herself in a major tournament. Both the ladies I mentioned have good experience and knowledge to deal with Marin's game and court attitude, having beaten her a number of times before.
Both TTY and RI are more skillful, but dont have her aggressiveness or speed. But I'll be surprised if her knees hold out until she's 30.
still just pushing the shuttle into her opponents court when she looses a point, making SJH walk extra 8 steps to retrieve it and get to her serving position. ugh I shouldn't have bothered to stay to watch this match
