You can say that, a question of seeing the glass half empty or half full.

Watch out, the veteran Polish pair, the 40-yr-old Mateusiak and 32-yr-old Zieba, are playing the badminton of their lives at the Rio Olympics !

Good luck to MAS Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying, they really need lots of it.

Hmm..after Ahsan Hendra gone, the realistic chance is for Owi Butet, but seeing the draw, not very promising.

I cant believe that I have to say this but I am more rooting for Grace and Nitya to have better chance.

CPS/GLY won't go far unless CPS improves his serves.

Apparently it is (a fellow BCer posted it in an other thread), but I haven't seen it up on tournamentsoftware yet :-(

I thought so too. Polli/Maheswari is not afraid and have defeated TYT/YY before.

Even if the Chinese win against the Indonesians, they still have a tough draw. Would have loved to see the number 1 and 4 seeds battle it out in the final ... I'm so torn ...

Yes I kinda like the draw that Ina wd are not in same half as Jpn wd before the finals, but just one step at the time. If they can exposed YY into long and endless rallies they might have big chance to win ;)

Significant challenge for Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong to win gold here. Might have to play the in form Russians again if they pass the quarterfinal tests.

In the world cup, only one player was able to re-beat a player from the group stages.
