You do realise those samples were from the 2014 WINTER Olympics and only found during the winter Olympics. No relation to summer Olympics sports. Cases like Sharapova were done by the sport governing body so it's safe to say that soz/ivanov are clean unless they are bribing bwf

    yes, it would.
the other problem of these group matches is the last matches are not all play at the same time.
the last pair to play know exactly how many games/points needed.

I dont like their personalities (as far as I know them) or their country's athletes - and knowing what we do about Russian sports the speedy recovery really makes me suspicious, as well as the sudden increase in form they had in the beginning of this year (after playing mediocre to bad their entire career).

Are we suggesting that Lee/Yoo lost on purpose to avoid Fu/Zhang, Chai/Hong (who had already played) and would prefer to face Endo/Hayakawa, Goh/Tan or Ivanov/Sozonov again (plus the winner from group C, which at that point was yet to be played) in the next round?

it is quite strange that suddenly the group results are upside down. with the perceived stronger team ended up in the 2nd place.

They will do it, since XuMa are runner up. The CHN team may clash each other in QF. To make it safe, both pairs from the same country will be at the same position, either become top of the group or become runnerup

How can you base this assessment in the little you've seen from telly? It's not like you ever had a conversation or understood an interview they did.

And people can improve. Remember how mediocre djokovic was in tennis until one year things just clicked and he's been world no 1 ever since? It's not impossible and they're not exactly playing as consistently as lee/yoo

I am referring to ZN/ZYL. CHN woyls prefer that their XD to not face each other till final.

Hmm Sun Yang from China proved to be using PED during 2014 and in Badminton China are proved to be match fixing (Zhao Mi vs Zhang Ning Olympic 2004), still watch them?

I am also awaiting the results of that match too!

But in the same fashion, did you expect Lee/Yoo to loose against the russians today?
