Still makes it slower! I use the back button all the time, because it's closer to my thumbs than the menu buttons on the screen. I don't see the need to hide them very much.

I think swiping on the bottom works as well.

I also have the same problem with the preStretch field. I can type 00 but not 10!

I'm using a galaxy s6 running marshmallow and the Samsung keyboard.

All other fields work great and if I manually edit the xml file I can see the 10 in the app.

Just noticed, that the "About"-section does not open anymore from menu.
I see the menu-entry, can click it, but nothing happens.

While at it, maybe add a small note in top of the "about", with info about version-number.

For reference, regarding entering "prestretch"-values which I have no issues with at present. I am running it on a Samsung S5 Neo, Android 5.1.1 and Samsung keyboard.

That is weird that the prestretch values work for some but not all... I will check on monday =)

Noted the Issue with the about page... I messed it up when I added in the dropbox menu items.

Hopefully cloud storage is working for you all!

Another useful feature that came to my mind would be kind of a free remark field for each string job which an optional pop-up with selecting the same racket for the next string job. Sometimes I notice some things during a string job which would be useful to be noted down and shown before the start of the next one. For example close-to damaged grommets which need to be replaced next time or other specialties for a specific racket.

Exactly! And it should be displayed (optionally?) when you enter the next string job for the same racket. Sort of a reminder.

Found this Thread, really curious about it. This app is exactly what I wanted to build since a year now. But I simply did not find the time to go for it.

Are you thinking if an iOS version too?
Don't forget: there are more androids around, but on device base they are much more fragmented than the IOS devices ....

    Greetings

I currently don't have a iPhone or any Apple products to test it on. I also won't be able to upload the app on the Apple Store. Their developers license is 100USD a year... and I do not make enough off the development to support it.

The alternative option for apple users is to download a android emuilator (I recommend BlueStacks 2), and install my app on there.

Glad to hear you enjoy it =)

    1. Make sure its enabled in the preferences
    2. Save a string job
    3. Select the job you created from the list.
    4. There should be a "Create Barcode" button on the top of the pop up. This allows you to create one and it saves as a .png on your device. You can sync this with your dropbox from the app as well.
    5. When adding a new job, there should be a "Scan Barcode" button on the top. Press this and scan. This will auto populate certain fields.

Let me know if this makes sense =)

Yeah about that with certain fields, why does it not populate the tension and prestretch fields.
Most of my players use the same tension and prestretch every time, and they can't remember what they use. So that is my job ;)

Is it possible to add these fields to the qr code ??

It doesnt add the tension and prestretch because I it was done that way.

Personally I have a few that like to change and try new tensions and strings from time to time.

But you have given me an idea for the next update.
