Yeah... most Malaysian players haven't got that mental fortitude. Barring Lee Chong Wei (but still no match in mental strength to LD)...

Last time, I watched badminton live on the stadium, INA was beaten by DEN 2-3 in 2004 Thomas Cup SF. After that, I stopped watching badminton. Starting to watch badminton again just last year and again I have to see INA beaten by Denmark in Thomas Cup.

Actually when HKV beat Iskandar Zainuddin yesterday, I should have more confidence in him but, knowing HKV, he can be brilliant one match and so-so the next, that's why I wasn't too sure if he could live up to high expectations in the most important match of his career.

There's no need to brood over the decisions that the coaches have taken. I personally think it's an excellent opportunity to showcase our youngsters and blood them early. When I looked at the draw for QF onwards, I was not even expecting Team INA to progress all the way to the Final.

Congratulations to Denmark for winning the TC for the first time since its inception in 1949. The Indonesians, however, have not lost in vain. Their young players have gained valuable experiences which will stand them in good stead for future TC tournaments. Disappointed with the doubles matches. Yesterdays' were more exciting.

Paul Eric Larson Hoyer will be presenting the trophy to the Danish team..

You're right! Let us take the experience of this tournament as a reward and look forward to our young guns reeling in better achievements in the future, which I'm sure they will :D

Quite fitting that the European champion and powerhouse wins at least one Thomas Cup.

Congratulation to Denmark, they have such strong singles. Vittinghus is more experience and better mental strength, I knew he will win it quite easily. It's good also for the Thomas cup to return to Europe after so many years in Asia.

Kept supporting the Indonesian team to win. Wanted the Indonesian team to win. In the end it was the Denmark team who won and created history.

So to all the Malaysians out there don't need to be so harsh on your own badminton players when they lost in the semifinals because finally it was the Denmark team who won the Thomas Cup 2016.

Congratulations Denmark for winning the Thomas Cup 2016.
