Of the 4 teams in Thomas Cup, which one stands the highest chance to lift the cup? My take is Korea. They are 2nd best after China.
I do not totally agree that Den beat a weakened Jpn yesterday. It is indeed true that Jpn is weaker without Momota, but they still have two strong MD. Do MAS has two strong MD? Not really. But they have a VERY strong MS, so weakened Jpn and normal MAS should be about the same strength. I can go either way
As Cai Yun said, it is difficult to forecast Den. I believe that CHN being out, they have the potential to lift the cup, because only CHN had as strong a MS line up, plus their double are not weak. The problem until now is that JOJ failed to deliver.
Japan has very good fighting spirit, Takuma Ueda is good example, being under pressure as his team trailed behind 0-2 against Denamrk but he didn't show nervous.
My opinion in terms of strength of the 4 teams is : KOR>MAS>DEN>INA. It's very close between MAS and DEN.
