More a makeover than photoshop editing, I think. For me, she already looks good natural without any make-up or makeover.

She is even more good looking in the flesh. One of the few woman that look good in sport outfit.

Congratulation for playing so well in the SSFinal's final, against NO, even though she lost the match. Her comeback in the first game strikes me as a moral victory, and a tactical one as well. She probably gave ideas to many players to solve the NO puzzle.

Does anybody know what kind of racket Wang Yihan is using? Manufacturer is not Li-Ning (what I saw an YT / Match WY vs. RI)

WSX lost to SN and WYH beat NO and LXR to win the Asian Championship. It will be tough for the coaches to choose which one to go to Rio alongside with LXR.

Qidong, what did you try to say indeed? :D

Not just NO, WYH also beat SN on the way to win the Asian Championship, her WR #4 vs WSX #6... and more importantly the effectiveness of her attacking play which WSX lacks of. I just perceive(*) that at their top forms, WYH is still more effective than WSX in dealing with any foreign opponent, and that matter should count the most! (*)To be more precise will need to list out and analyze the recent outcomes of each against those potential opponents.
However, I don't know when is the deadline for the association to submit the final participant list, until then thing may still change due to some unseen factors. If nothing there, I think WYH will go, WSX will sadly stay at home.

However, Wang Yihan's performance recently is of concern. She can go from playing very well to playing very poorly, which actually results in her sometimes losing by QF. The inconsistency in her performance will also bug her coaches.

Between the both of them, if I'm the head coach and I want a gold from either of them, I will have to consider really hard...

WSX is fairly consistent, but doesnt seem to have the ability to win in the finals.

WYH is inconsistent, but when she gets hot, has the ability to beat anybody in the finals.

If the goal is a gold medal, the choice is obviously WYH. If the goal is a bronze medal, i think WSX has a better chance.

Anyone ever consider sending WYH and WSX to RIO? They might be more motivated to win the gold.

If you know how much money a Chinese athlete makes by winning a medal especially gold, everyone will be motivated.
