Hmmm I would not discredit LCW. I think he is mentally stronger now than before especially after he lost the WC last year. Well the biggest test will be in Olympics where he will be mentally tested + the burden of the nation for the 1st Gold. I believe Lin Dan is still a strong contender for the Gold as he always rise to the occasion.

I think it is interesting that Lin Dan seems to play more tournament this year than LCW. Usually it is the other way round So can LCW breaks the curse of losing to Lin Dan in Major tournament? Lets wait & see

Fair comment, except that nobody, including myself, is discrediting LCW. We're only speculating on why Lin Dan lost, particularly the way he played in G3. I believe we're absolutely sure Lin Dan will be 100% prepared and not play like this come Rio.

I think if this Japanese pair can win tomorrow final they possibly can up their ranking to 8, which means trouble for Chang/Lee currently ranked 8. Anyone knows the ranking points for this event?
