Taufik has to realize and accept that LD's nickname is "Super Dan". :D
Taufik should know that beating "Super Dan" in his home ground is very, very, very, very, very, very hard.

    Congrats to the Chinese team..

..It was as expected, but by winning all of the matches and going undefeated, it shows that they are indeed serious...Great job for the Chinese team..

Now, looking ahead to the 2007 SC which will be held in June @ Glasgow, Scotland, let's see, Malaysia will be in the SC Cup competition and Sweden out(Group 1)..Barring any major cancellation, that should make the matches more interesting..In the 2007 edition, China will be the defending champ in group 1A and Indonesia will be the top seed in Group 1B..
We shall see if the Chinese team will be able to keep up its quality of players(they could be without ChenHong, GaoLing, ZhangJun and ZhangNing)..
Who's going to win it??..

Indo could have won at least MX so we could watch MD :p Anyway, that was really fun to watch. It was pretty cool when you saw the entire Chinese team sing to the anthem as the flag was raised. That camera angle showing everyone singing was pretty patriotic.

Lin Dan beat Taufik in CHN, 2:0.
Let us wait and see they play on third country... :)

agree with Joel_y that there should a decider in a 3rd country.

But I don't think Taufik lost was due to 'lack of energy' or 'fatigue'. The semi-final match against Peter Gade wasn't a long one(49mins). In fact, Lin Dan should be more tired one because he played more matches than Taufik. Taufik loss of focus towards the end of the 2nd game (disappointed with the 1st game?) is clearly a big factor.

One more thing, Lin Dan held his nerves really well. Not only in SC but he usually wins in a deuce situation...incredible mental strength and determination.

yeah, I think Lin Dan played well tonight, he deserved all the credits for beating Taufik. I also think that the Indonesians put up a good fight against the seemingly invincible Chinese, so I'm quite happy.
