Whether it is Wai or Namastae.. lets salute a good badminton player such as Intanon for being a very good brand ambassador for the game of badminton. I would like to see Intanon win more tournaments and prove to others that humbleness in sport will take you great heights. At such a young age Intanon is showing so much maturity that shows her upbringing and all credits to her parents & coaches for shaping such a good person & player.

has extremely good racket head skills. In the words of Eddy Choong, no use how deceptive you are, if your legs can hold up as long as you want, and as fast as you want. And this is what she is facing.

Ratchanok totally dominated Sung in today's Thailand Master SF. She was already known for her excellent skill. But today, she also showed her quickness and physical fitness. If she keeps on playing like this, she should be one of the favorites to win the gold in Rio.

Yes definitely agree that this player have the skills to win in tournaments. She is just too good to be true. She is one of my favourite idols. I believe that she is the best player that Thailand have ever produced.

After Swiss Open, I see her chances for gold medal in Rio is a bit slimmer than Okuhara, LXR, and Marin. Maybe about the same with WSX, assuming she is chosen instead of WYH.

The thread title has been trimmed to show only the player's name.
This is to bring uniformity to all the players' threads in the Professional Players section.

Congratulations to Ratchanok Intanon!! :) She made history today as the:
    • first player to win three Superseries Titles in three consecutive week. That's 18 days of tournament in three week :0
    • Also becoming the 3rd WS player -and 1st non-chinese player- in history to win three back to back title.
    • She will finally reach her career highest rank and become the new World Number 1 from next week, a few hundred points above Carolina Marin.
After a very disappointing 2014 year and not very stellar 2015 year with a lot of fitness issues, she seems to be back as a strong contender for the olympics

I don't know if you are referring to the first female player, but for winning 3 back-to-back SS/SSP titles, at least Lee/Yoo and LCW did that.

Correction: Lee/Yoo and LCW won 3 back-to-back SS/SSP titles, but didn't in three consecutive weeks. Seems that RI is the first one who does that. Another record!

RI creates too many history recording in WS badminton. Let's see any new records she will make. She is just 21 year old.
This moment isn't the peak and she still has so many room of improving to make more better. Take care ... my MAY.
