Currently own a Voltric 80 and a Arcsaber ZSlash (I know, extremely different rackets) but I currently cannot grasp the feel of them anymore. I come to conclusion that I need a head heavy medium flex racket as the Voltric is too heavy and stiff for my liking. I am a Intermediate player, Thanks!
Voltric 70 is less stiff but not as head heavy as voltric 80. So if you just want a racket, which as head heavy as the voltric 80 but less stiff, the voltric 70 is not for you. But you should give it a try. Because of the less heavy head the voltric 70 is more maneuverable. I play with the voltric 70 etune 4U and find it very good. smash is good, for me even better than voltric 70 3U because 3U is too heavy. And of course defense is much better. Another option is victor hypernano x600 or meteor x60. They should be similar to the voltric 70.
Tk9000 is rated as medium flex, but feels like it plays pretty stiff to me. But it is slightly less stiff I guess.
You should try the Megapower rackets of Lining like 80TD, F360 or 9TD, 7TD. They're all head-heavy rackets with the medium-stiff and easy to use. For me, I prefer Yonex's rackets to Lining's because they're more stable, especially for a long rally.
hi sir, can u describe how voltric 1 lcw perform? im planning to buy this racket thank you sorry for my bad english hehe
can help me ? this racket good for double ? im planing to buy this tk onigiri tomorrow ,worth to buy ? im Intermediate player only and only play double men only ,
No, I wouldn't recommend it for doubles. But do you like using head heavy rackets? Because if you like using head heavy/flexible rackets then even if it's not a racket suited for doubles it might work for you because you're more comfortable with that style of racket. I personally have been using even balance rackets for a long time in doubles, but recently i've switched to a slightly head heavy racket and found it enjoyable. For Victor rackets, a safer choice for doubles would be the Jetspeed S 08 or if you have the wrist for it, a Jetspeed S 10.
Not many choices for head heavy/med flex racket, just tk9000 n tk onigiri Agree that head heavy rackets sometimes not as comfortable as even balance rackets
Like voltric_80etune already mentioned, you might give Li-Ning rackets a try. For example N90, N80, N55-III, N9TD, ... Almost all LN rackets are medium flex and head-balance to head-heavy.
The tk9 is rated medium flex, but it plays pretty stiff in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
