Is there any big difference between BG 66 Ultimax and BG 66 Force?
I know that power would be the same, but I'm not certain about control, shock absorption, and feeling.
    Thank you.

Everyone I know that's tried both, myself included, prefer UM. Force is a dull string.

Haha, I see. What I mean is brief review/comparison between the two. :p

It's been a while since I used it, but I remember hating how it felt. I couldn't gauge net shots on it because it was so dull. I kept hitting the tape and underestimating it.

Not particularly rough, but neither is 66UM.

66UM turns into mushy crap after a few weeks, but 66F starts off as mushy crap.

I don't really remember anything significant between the two for repulsion.

If you're control type of player stick to your 66UM, 66UM much easier to control than 66F.
66F feeling numb. But if you're always a hard smasher and less control, u may give 66F a try.

But in my humble opinion, BG66UM still preferably. :p

BG80P is in my opinion the best of Yonex strings. I've tried 10pcs of BG66UM, 10pcs of BG10F, 10pcs of BG66, and lastly came to 10pcs BG80P and the latter beat them all in term of repulsion, feeling, and durability. When i say 10pcs, meaning 10x of restringing the same rackets with the same string because in my place i buy string not per-1-pc but a set of 10pcs that could last me for a year or less. Having said that, i had at least a year of experiencing the same exact string until the set finished and purchase new set of strings. Some time i bought 2 set at once of different strings and compare them throughout the year. Always strung @26x28lbs on few rackets. BG66UM is somehow less durable if compared to BG66F & BG66 but it was great for the first 2-3 sessions for smashing.

Do try out the new Aerosonic 0.61 string, i've since dumped BG66 UM for my TK9000 and switched all to Aerosonic 0.61 and seriously my clears and smashes have never felt better. Its feel is also more forgiving than BG66 UM and BG80 hands down, repulsion is better than any string I've tried, I string my tk9000 at 27lbs, i play usually twice to 3 times a week and the tension and feel have surprisingly held up slightly over a month given its the thinnest string out there!

But how does its durability? Considering 0.61mm will easily snapped, but i hope it is just as strong as BG80P. I heard of its top notch playability but if within 50-70 smashes the string will snap, then low-mid income salary player wouldn't be able to afford it on weekly basis.

Snapping within 50-70 smashes? That sounds to be a short lifetime to me. I think it depends which tension you use. I think if you go for Aerosonic in the 20-24lbs area, you will be okay, but can't await a wonder.

Why bother buying such an expensive string for such a low tension? :D
