I know what you mean. First off, sorry for digging this old part of the thread up, but I have recently started playing with my old (like 12 years old!!!) Carlton Rasmussen Airblade Titanium racket, and its freakin' awesome. STILL. My smashes are extremely powerful with this racket (as they were when I first got it), but the design and balance is great for doubles play, which is what I usually do. I was using a much lighter racket up until recently (Apacs Nano Fusion Speed 722), due to some shoulder impingement I was experiencing, but that has gone down now, and coupled with regular gym sessions again, my shoulder is getting really strong (again) and can tackle a heavier racket, for now anyway. People at my club ask me about the racket, and are shocked its as old as it is. The things I like about it is the minimum (stiff) flex, and just how thick the frame is at the T-joint. The thing I really want to know about this racket is the string it came with originally, and if they still make it, or at least something similar. I recall it was something like the "Carlton Tour Performance", from what I could read on the strings themselves. The string is thick, and has high repulsion properties, and holds tension EXTREMELY well. I would love to get this string for some of my other rackets, if its available. It is kind of a shame more people are not aware of how good a product Carlton actually makes!

when you download and open this 250kb gif at it's original size, it's not so bad. in a way, since it's text, the smaller the font, the more detail (rows) can fit on a screen at one time and is easy to read.
has there been any updates? good review, looking for light rackets and the review really helped me, the kason carvel are so cheap here
This chart was the work of one man. It's creation was an act of generous insanity. (Or insane generosity, if you prefer). No one could keep reviewing new rackets endlessly. One could assume that Dinkalot has come to his senses -- or to the end of his money and free time -- and has moved on to a normal working life. But of course that assumption would be wrong, because that wonderful man has moved on from reviewing rackets to creating his own.

I wish South Korea would think of making a badminton racket eventually I really love a lot of South Korean products as much as I do with Japanese products.

Hi, why don't we have a thread which people can submit their data about rackets... of course it has to be objective and measurable. Some of the measurements would be total weight, balance point, shaft stiffness (this one is difficult), swing weight, head weight. The contributors just have to submit whatever data they have. The main thread owner would combine all data and average for each of the categories.
It won't be quite likely for Sir Dinkalot to do the whole updated review of racket from 2010 to 2020, at least for now, since he is now work more on his product... But hey, never say never! perhaps he can give a surprise to all of us in bcforum someday! Or maybe someone/others will have a comprehensive review like the "gold-standard" review that Sir Dink has.
