Perhaps. But they do say on their website "THE WORLDS LIGHTEST BADMINTON FRAME! ".
But then again they also say "Less weight = More Head-speed = More Power!" right next to that, and that isn't entirely true so ... take from that what you will.

Well the shaft is connected and is included in the 60g but the handle is not, correct. Somebody on here a while back bought a couple and measured them(karakal bn-60) and they came in at 74g

With my Karakal BN60, the claimed 60g is only the Frame weight. My racket strung with Yonex BG66 Ultimax and using Ashaway grip removing the original grip, the total weight is 78.3g. As for my Yonex Arcsaber FB, the claimed weight is 73g, and that is also strung with BG66 Ultimax and removing original grip and using Ashaway grip, the total weight comes in at 80.9g. So the Karakal BN60 is still the lightest in my arsenal.

light weight is good and no doubt BN60 is very light. but the problem with light rackets are... your drop shots , clear shots, net play will suffer a lot!!!!
i have played with BN60 thinking that a lighter racket will be good... but i regret that i purchased BN60...
also it broke after 20 days.. not by any collapse.. but just by my smash.. the shuttle hit the frame and frame broke... so guys dont try to plan light rackets.. !!!

yes i bought featherweight 200 apacs and used 2 days. I just dint get any feel. Also clears give you more strain. O prefer 3u or max 4u

I have no idea about the Karakal BN60 specs but I tried before Apacs Featherweight 500, this racket is a heavy head racket and recommended by my stringer to string for 24lbs.

Indeed my stringer is correct, all of my shots from rear court clear, punch, overhead smash, drop shot, drive and push is effortless and powerful despite the lightest frame, no thanks to the low tension of 24lbs.

In my personal opinion, a light weight racket must have heavy head specs and string at lower tension (unless you have perfect badminton techniques) to show the racket true potential.

But I still have doubt abt perfect tech.. If the tech is wrong , how I m not facing any such problems with heavy (3u or 4u) rackets..
