Hi peeps, I am just curious. Why isn't the Yonex tour series of racket being widely discuss nor they are listed on the official site of yonex. I've bought a Voltric Tour 88, half a year ago and found out that it is actually quite a good racket.

Have you ever tried a tour series racket? mind sharing your opinion or review? I am getting another new racket soon, so I'd think I can do some background research on them.

They are all made in Japan, I can say they are the lowest price in the whole Japanese made lineup of Yonex. Feel free to share any of your experience, or your opinion on their pros and cons.:)

Here are some Tour Series on the market still:

I just bought yonex voltric tour 55 SP, strung with yy bg 66 UM 22 lbs. Since i have trouble in hitting shuttlecock clear to the opponent rear side, i think a 3U, head heavy, flexible shaft and low tension string is my best pick for low price japan made yonex tour series racket. I love the hit sound when making smash. Flexible shaft and low tension really do solve my problem as mentioned but to make powerful smash a stiff one could be a better solution. I did spend times on my own research finding balance point on making soar repulsion hit and powerful smash at once, so i picked this 3U head heavy racket rather than 4U head light Nanoray Tour 77. In my own opinion, it was steps upgrade from my previous even balance li ning ultra carbon 3920 racket. I found a thread on this forum explains that japan yonex Tour code is made for market concern outside japan, so it is not described in japan yonex site. Please correct me if i'm wrong :)

Yonex Tour series are products from Sunrise, Yonex sole distributor in Southeast Asian countries. All YY products with SP code. So it is Yonex mid-end products in these countries only.

So do these mid end voltric tour SP rackets have all advantages of technology that high end voltric offers?

Not really, their carbon material is not the same as regular >US $100 voltrics. My stringer broke my nanoray tour33 while stringing 25lbs tension. Its max tension according to YY is ONLY 22lbs, mine was a 3UG5
