Saina wins her first match in China Open.. But it was close game the score was 22 20 & 21 1. Come on Saina go for the kill. Meanwhile Ajay Jayram lost to Chen Long in Straight sets. Hope the other Indian players put up a good show
Sindha has crushed her opponent Polikarpova 21 14; 21 09. Looks like a one sided game. Come on Sindhu .. Keep going
Srikanth & HS Prannoy out of China Open they lost their respective matches to lower ranked players. Indian mens badminton player need to show more consistency which is lacking presently. Kashyap is injured so is not participating in this tournament. Men please grow up.. improve your performance. It is really a matter shame that Srikanth (last year China Open Champion) getting knocked out by a lower ranked player in the first round. May be he too needs a change of coach. The only hope is from the Women section, both Saina & Sindhu have gone to the second round.
Wow... Truly Amazing... Saina in the finals in Fuzhou and Siril Verma in Peru... Interesting Sunday for us...

mtyce lol even Nandu is outperforming Sri this year. Nice to see Jishnu's name on a draw after so long. Why on earth is Ruth playing such a lowly event??? She needs to make her damn mind. Either play decent tourneys and a full schedule like Aparna and her two successors or stay at home like Madhu. Plz BAI and SAI, such open and brazen gender discrimination is unfair. You guys allow 6 guys to play a full schedule and only two girls??? Looks like you have taken the 33% women reservation under the directive principles of our constitution a bit too seriously. :-( :-(
And 33% of 543 is 181. Yet there are only 61 women in the Lok Sabha. The DPs of our constitution are not mandatory for the government and hence none of its arms, SAI included follow it.
