It's got those stupid weighted strip grommets like the RSL's and E-Tune Yonex'. I'll pass. The Onigiri is the obvious choice but it looks cheesy. I don't understand the distressed green sections at all. Yep, I'm that shallow. I might go take a closer look at one again in the shops, though, just to see if I could live with it. The specs are certainly up my alley.
I have an onigiri now, it's certainly striking. The green bits spell out onigiri. Light, fast, powerful and with a nice feel through it. Mine came strung with 66u which I don't like. I'll give it some nice and tight bg80 and report back.
My arm is bigger than his leg and my leg is bigger than his waist. I spent 10 years training for explosive power and pushed cars around for cardio. He may be a much better player but I'm not having that he's beastier
Also LCW might just be the cleaner hitter @Maklike: TK9000 instead of N90iii? Isnt that a whole other level of stiff? The N90iii felt really nice. Not too stiff, decent weight...really similar to the N80, which is just a tad stiffer. Both have the vaguely Bravesword-y head.
The Onigiri is very interesting to me. Anybody here use the N9? Would you say they are pretty close specs wise?
No I didn't find the TK9000 unusably stiff. As a whole it was a pretty nicely sorted chassis. It was stiffer than anything I'd used before, to be sure, but it was right at the pointy end of playablity for me which was okay. You couldn't be lazy with it or the shuttle would go nowhere, but the more you put in the more you got out. It was also a stunning looking racket too, which helps Yeah the N90iii is a real sleeper. Not completely dissimilar to the Cai Yun racket (I can never remember the letter/number. C7?) It's a racket a lot of people could instantly love I reckon.
Just found this on the Facebook page of RacquetForce and I think this could be interesting for all the Victor fans in here who are seeking genuine player-coded rackets: - - - "<Victor (HK) + Racquet Force Official Statement> As we received increasing amount of inquiries and demand towards Victor's so call Player racquet selling in the market, we will like to do a post here to help everyone to identify if the Victor racquet you bought is truly a player version or its just another countries' market version. We are honor enough to string for all Victor sponsored teams for the recent HK Open that ended 2 weeks ago (thanks to Victor HK ) and while doing that we got to touch and see a lot of the sponsored players' rackets. So now lets go back to the topic, most popular codes that YOU might want to know....KRP and MYP...do they mean they are Korean Player rackets and Malaysian player rackets ??? The answer is NO. Official Players rackets are in below coding system: country code (2 letters) + letter + 1 digit number + "P" + a set of numbers (5 digits) We also attached some pictures for your references including Lee Yong Dae, Kim Gi Jung, Kim Ha Na, Goh V Shem and Taiwanese Players' racquets to prove so. So PLEASE DO NOT pay high money if people wants to sell you KRP or MYP rackets as they are NOT Players' version rackets. BE SMART........and tell the people who might be interested to buy KRP or MYP just to think they are the player rackets.....but in fact they are just normal Korean distributors and Malaysian distributors rackets In conclusion, we just want you all to spend correctly and wisely !!" - - -
KOR and MAS All England kits are up now, along with some interesting cubistic designs that I assume are for INA.
the shirts are really nice. I've had the pleasure of holding the shirts and I really like them. Of course, not everyone will have the same opinion and that's fine. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
