Would you trust those vendors? I am very dubious about sellers in China, when they offer too cheap prices

hmmm, there are some reputable online sellers too on the 中羽在线 forum i think... 510RMB is not really that "cheap" and its BS12N not BS12, which is still in production (and i think only CN code is being produced now)

judging fr some of the pics the buyers posted, the spec font at cone, butt cap logo, grommets, all look legit

but of coz, have to open eyes real big and spend more effort sourcing for such reputable vendors

If plastic wrap weighs 1.4g then it means I have a 88.6g bs12.. But after overgrip and string, will end up around 95-97g. So i think it's manageable as long as its more even balanced.

Haven't had the chance to explore China online sites. Bought mine from A&T at around SGD136 after applying the 20% discount code. Unstrung though. But thot price not too bad for a brand new bs12 blue.

136 is a gd price leh bro, some more blue stop production liao, value wouldnt drop as long as LYD keeps winning and being world no. 1 MD lol

PS: the shop no 4U available?

and if u r not an expert in authenticating real / fake raq and identifying the details, better avoid China online sellers altogether, not worth the risk

Yes bro, price was quite good for brand new and yup, hope LYD keep winning

The online store only left 2 3Us when I saw, and now it is out of stock.

I prob won't try websites I'm not familiar with, as like u've said, I'm no expert in racket authentication. :)

Send it for replacement. Should be a shoe in to get it replaced. How long however is another thing =X

    Never clashed,
Buy in a official store, serial start with DEB (coming from Deutschland i think)

The original grip + a yonex 102ex overgrip.
    Always dry...

I have asked for a replacement, waiting a response now :)

Meanwhile, i hesitate to buy a new one.
I loved this racket in the front court.

Racket handle failures while quite uncommon aren't unheard of in any brand. Don't let that put you off from such a good racket. If you just don't feel like hashing out the cash for another then just wait for the replacement because this is clearly their fault and not yours

Agree. But it does seem to be more common in Victors than in Yonex.

I've personally broke one myself and seen another break at my club. I also recall LYD himself breaking the handle of his BS12 once too.

Babolat has these problems the most, actually. I broke 3 handles on 3 X-Feel Blast in 2 months. A friend of mine broke 2 handles of his NS8000, but he whips his racket more than actually hitting properly. But i was very disappointed with my babolat rackets.

Hope to be able to wield it for many more years ;)

I can't comment on frequency of occurrence in regards to brand since personally I haven't actually seen any handle failures on court personally before. But yeah LYD broke one during the Indonesian league.

Not necessary bro, maybe my first impressions would have been 'loving' every hit instead of just 'enjoying', if I had the 4U? :D

Hi bear23, it's normal. My sg coded bs12 also have made in China on the shaft. If I am not wrong, now only a few model is made in Taiwan. As for pricing it depends on the condition and what's the price for brand new ones in your area. Maybe u can take ref from the buy n sell threads. :)
