just realised that LCW won almost twice superseries as LD, and Yonex just spend their money more on LD.... Well, those all englands and olympics title really count so much.. Amazing LCW. (And LD too of course..)

2015 Year-end report. Korea’s men doubles players have 8 unprecedented consecutive SuperSeries titles this year, the most successive wins previously were 3 archived by China, Indonesia and Korea. China’s mixed doubles also have 8 titles this year, both are 1 short of the 9 women doubles titles won by China with NINE different pairings. Individually, Lee Yong Dae has 6 titles with partner Yoo Yeon Seong Zhao Yunlei also has 6 titles with Zhang Nan in mixed doubles and 2 women double titles with Tian Qing and Zhong Qianxin. Chen Long and Carolina Marin both has 5 single titles in 2015, best year for both of them. We also witnessed quite a few first time winners, Kento Momota , Sun Yu and Nozomi Okuhara in Singles Angga Pratama / Ricky Karanda Suwardi, Ko Sung Hyun / Shin Baek Choel and Chai Biao / Hong Wei in Men Doubles. Liu Cheng / Bao Yixin and Lee Chun Hei Reginald / Chau Hoi Wah in Mixed Doubles. And 10 out of the 12 Women Doubles pairs won their first title this year.
of course you're right. Nozomi Okuhara was the girl won her first SS title this year, not Akane Yamaguchi.
You did it great. I just happened to remember that Akane Yamaguchi won Japan Open 2013, and she was named here again as first time winner and asked you a question. I don’t have much knowledge in badminton before WC2013.

This thread should keep being alive. Anyway, some facts that I found by doing small research by myself. There are only 4 players that had won 12 different SS title as well as SSF; 12 different SS because we have changing SS lineup with India, Swiss, Australia and China Masters. They are Yu Yang, Lee Yong Dae, Lee Chong Wei and Wang Yihan. Some others are missing 1 or 2 tournaments, e.g. Hendra Setiawan (India & Korea), Chen Long & LD (both INA), ZZpair (IND), and some of the CHN WD I believe (but am not very interested to look into it...). Not even, YYS, Liliyana Natsir, Fu Haifeng, Ma Jin, Li Xuerui are close to complete the title (in one event).
