Hhm.. excessive celebration is a fine line to draw.. I'd prefer celebration anytime to 21 points multiply by 3 shoutings of ah ah ah!
is it true, perhaps, LCW performs better with only Tey Seu Bock at the chair behind him. You think Frost would be there especially to advise him on his match vs LD.
Being devoted is not the problem here. They probably have a deep sense of insecurity about themselves when they look in the mirror. Remember these great china players never ask to be used as an 'abuse' stepping stone to derogate other fan's players. If they knew this, they would surely ask you to tone down. After all, winning is not everything, 'when you don't have humility'. Think about the greatest player in the world with no one to play with. It's self evident that these 'lunatic' fans makes no constructive criticism whatsoever, they bash other fan's players, but when you say one thing about their own player they go crazy and short circuit all over. Now doesn't sound this like borderline lunatic? Also to be fair to all, I think the post about CL going home without a shirt joke is.. too slapstick comedy for me. See, we are a bunch of nice guys with sound mind.
Yes if you are wet till it interferes with the possibility of clinching your US50K+ cheque. Besides they are not going to give you a glass cubicle right? Let the fans think whatever they want. It might even increased the player's fan base exponentially. ooh...
This would do just fine. And it doesn't cost a lot of money, and no one can see you. In actual fact, the centres where I play, majority of guys strip to their undies right at the benches in the changing room and no one gives a hoot. But alas, we like to think that the badminton fans and community fan base around the world are classy and civilized too. Now wouldn't that be a good impression, as compared to say, football? sorry football fans. But unfortunately, I think the doping screening should play a more prominent role. It's everywhere these days. Look at Russia, being labeled as 'state-sponsored doping'.
the reason he so calm in Final against CL becoz I read somewhere he said that he's now learn to accept defeat and he just want to enjoy the final more than winning. good recipe to reduce the pressure and to bring the best out from him and it's work!
Very true. That's the most carefree that I've ever seen him play. Good for him. Hope he carries this approach with him in future tournaments.
it could also be the fact that LCW isnt expected to win against CL anymore. LCW is no longer World no.1 and I think most people agree that CL is currently the superior player. There should be no pressure on LCW to win he is the underdog now
A Comment from a LCW fan on Lin Dan who talks non stop about giving respect to Lee Chong Wei for what he has done to Badminton and gives his noble advice to Jia You fans.. ''I paid for cable tv services and stayed up late waiting for this match and that chicken withdrew!!'' Want respect,Give respect first......
Sometime the pressure of performing gets to a player and affects his performance. Since LCW has set very high standards so when it comes to pressure matches against LD & CL his performance is affected. LCW would have felt that it is more in the mind than his form which affecting the results. Now that he has won against CL & LD his confidence would be sky high and that do a world of good to his performance. Come on LCW you are a role model for us...
Yup, hopefully! I do really hope he can get the biggest bacon at Olympic before he retired. He deserve it!
Coming from you, I can only say, as hypocritical, petty and narrow-minded as ever. I'd advise you to look in the mirror first before you post something like that.
Lets not get personal here. This forum has a sanctity for healthy discussions and lets not spoil it because of few rotten apples.
A makeshift cubicle that can be set up within 10 seconds would do nicely for the players to change shirts and shorts, if they like. Porntip will be delighted and be the first one to use it.
Footwork from lcw is homemade by himself and its better then whole china players. I have tested both and hope you all should try it
