Below is my modest arsenal. Just started playing badminton about 6-7 months ago so still in the "finding" mode. Made a mistake buying YY ZF 2012 ltd as my first racket. Dang that thing is tough to handle.
I've got 5 rackets right now but probably will end up keeping just 3. I'll keep the ZF in the hope that I can tame it one day.

    From left to right:
    - YY ZF 2012 ltd
    - Apacs Finapi 101
    - Apacs Lethal 100
    - Victor Spira 22
    - Gosen Aermet 4900 Tour

I agree, but I dont know the reason. Maybe something wrong with stringing?

Perhaps. But I think a little shifting is normal on the head after a stringing job, but that looks a little excessive to me. I don't know too much about string though to be fair...

I think all my rackets here look quite narrow, except the first one (VT80 PG) which is a brand-new.

True, but the VT80 looks a little more narrow.

Wow owning a ZF already that early? Lucky (except the fact it doesn't work for you)

I'm keeping the positive outlook, brotha. Someday ... someday ... I guess it has to do with the racket's head-heaviness and extra-stiffness. My game become sluggish and laboured when I'm on the ZF.
It's rather hard to find the ZF 2012 ltd nowadays. So yeah, I consider myself lucky. But I think the gem among the bunch is the Spira 22, especially since I got them quite cheap ~ USD 40 (albeit 2nd hand). For my current level and style if play, this racket has no apparent deficiency. Speed, power, control and feel; It has it all.

Some places just don't have stringing consistency or they have several stringers who string differently. I took 3x racquets to a popular stringing shop (all same make and model), requesting same tension and string, and all 3 ended up with different head shapes. 2 fat, 1 narrow. Tried to argue this is not acceptable but they were adamant there's nothing wrong and it's normal.

yup. i have a stringer that consistently makes the racket head narrower and longer while another stringer makes the racket head rounder. lol. so i see the original racket head shape and then decide which stringer to use (depending on whether i want to make a rounder one narrower or maintain a slightly round one)
