for the second time of this year, Koo/Tan cruised to QF of Korea Open by demolished 5th seed CHN pair Chai/Hong in straight games...

Their performance is really a question. I watched them played at Viet Nam Open, and I don't think they even want to win. Now they are trashing 5th seed in SS event. Probably they want to save energy for big event as they probably cannot win back to back tournaments.

That's pretty shocking to be honest - 5th seed beaten by a retired pairing!

Man, I would have loved to see how they fare against one of the best pairs today fu and zhang! But no they put this interesting and exciting match on court 3.

Normally I would say that Koo/Tan get demolished by Funan, but somehow they crushed two very good pairs the two rounds before, so I hope they can at least stretch Funan ;)

I still have no clue how far Koo and Tan can go. Btw their chances to go to Rio are not that bad keeping in mind that Tan and Goh don´t live up to the expectations I had when they started their partnership...

Wow good news have arrived. Koo Kien Keat / Tan Boon Heong won over Angga Pratama / Ricky Karanda Suwardi today thus creating an upset. Wow I am impressed with their performance thus far. Both have been playing very well ever since they make a comeback. Good for them. I guess both will have a high chance to win the gold medals tomorrow. Congratulations.

Yes so far so good. Both of them are still the best MD for Malaysia and I believe both of them will continue to shine in international tournament.
