On the whole, WSX outwitted Akane, unfortunately her lack of a good smash and those unforced errors, esp service errors, cost her dearly.

When being interviewed today, both lee and yoo said it is never easy to win over angga / Ricky today. Before the match started we have already studied the game plan of the Indonesian MD well send watch the video replay of their game so many times to get ourselves ready. We knew that we will face them. Everything paid off and finally we win, both of us lost to them last time so we didn't want to lose again this time. Everything paid off.

On the other hand the Indonesians admitted that they were not prepared for this game at all, they spend too much time studying the game plan of the Malaysian MD and watch the video replay to learn their tactics and strategies. So finally they win yesterday but today they admitted that both are just not prepared to play with the Korean MD hence they lost today.

Japan WS have taken retrieving to the next level. Incredible stuff. Okuhara is doing what Yamaguchi did.

oh,Man!!!!i am feeling so sad for WSX...from saving a match point in R2 and to win in the decider, gave her all to win against Carolina Marin and now such an undeserved result....Hope she takes a lot of positives from this tournament and runs riot at Korea Open..........Will always with You,Queen....

My predictions are right again. Christina Pedersen/ kamilla Rhyter Jul just won over Shizuoka Matsuo/ Mami Naito in straight sets. So another Denmark player through to the finals.

The only consolation for me is that WSX proved she is capable of beating Marin and the much-improved Akane. Way to go, WSX ! Hope to see you in Rio'16 and in the finals as well, better still, take gold !
