Well, I have been considering getting a new racquet... Some of my choices, AT 800 OFF/DEF, MP99/100, or NS 7/8k Yes I know those are fairly expensive racquets, but if it's worth them money then meh.... Well I play mostly doubles occasionally singles.. I am a fairly offensive person... That is why I am considering AT 800 OFF and MP100... I have read reviews about how the head heavyness will slow me down, but I am not sure... any suggestions or comments... although I think I can move faster....
1. Slow u down means ur swing will be slowed down. If you have strong arm/wrist, and can generate fast enough swing, then, u should be fine. If u don't, and over push for it, u can easily get injuried. 2. Whether expensive rackets worth the $$$ or not, depend on each individual. If the racket fit for u, it's a good buy. If not at all, then, it's a waste of $$$. 3. Try all of them (including others that u not metioned), by borrowing from friends, or rent a demo from local shop. Then, pick the one fit for u the most.
just saw need to defend my racket AT800DE, although it is called "defensive", it isn't such a defensive racket. it is very well balanced, good in defense, and is still able to generate lots of power dont underestimate it
