Smashing as hard as a current 31 year old LD is actually nowhere near as impossible as people think it is now.

Probably everybody in the MD circuit can smash harder than him (save cai yun). I can totally see a lot of people stringing 28+. Besides, the tension he strings at he plays with immediately, so there's no tension loss, and all his strings are pre-stretched etc.

Speaking of fast smash, how do you record the speed of your smash? I've always been wondering how fast my smash is but there is no way to confirm it in km/h.

Let say there is a device to do so (not sure what's the name is but seems like police use it to catch speedster), how much do you think that device will cost?

Why do people need so high tensions. Look at Paul s reviews. He wants you to string at 22lbs. =)

If you want warranty you must look for any racket which is advertised to take 35lbs.
I have strung without issues and outside the warranty and all rackets are still alive:

YY ZF 4U and 3U @ 30-33 lbs more than a douzen times
    Victor SW35 4U and 3U at 30-33 a douzen times
    YY AT50 @ 31lbs a half douzen times
    Victor MX80 3U @ 32 lbs a douzen times
    Victor BS10 3U @ 30-32 lbs more than 2 douzen times
    YY Isometric Z 3U @ 31lbs a half douzen times
    and so on...

If you are used to string high tensions and have a good to decent technique and a good and well adjusted 6-point machine and don't need more than 45minutes for a job, you can do your 33lbs+ jobs with nearly any new even to head heavy 3U in good condition without any issues.

Why under 45 minutes? Just because I'm a slow stringer and sometimes it creeps over 45 mins.

Good question... my stated 45 are made up out of thin air. Maybe I'm paranoid but at this tensions I'm scared about being slow. Even with a good machine your racket is exposed uneven tensions and forces, so I think that very slow stringing is not good for the racket if you crank it up to 32/34. Just my opinion. I don't think that something happen if it takes 48 minutes or 50, but for really slow and inexperienced stringers which need 60,70,80 minutes, it becomes critical.
