    the last time a player successfully defended a WS WC title was Xie Xingfang back in 2005/2006, the 1st year it was turned into an annual event.

    before that, was 1995/1997 with Ye Zhaoying, and before that, 1985/1987 Han Aiping

    interesting. seems to be a every decade occurance.

    And George Bush "won" the elections too.

    It is unfair to be judgmental about choices but I don't know if I have ever disliked screaming on any sports ever like I do when CM is playing :rolleyes:

    India definitely needs its own billion. They are never going to get support from outside and it is very hard to understand why even if they are underdogs going to events. :confused: :crying::)

    Rooting for Marin. Looks a class above SN today. Can't see SN as a World Champion, to be honest.

    But then again I dislike SN immensely so... may be bias showing

    instead of needing its own billion, maybe need some analysis why they are never going to get support from outside. Even Marin with her annoying screaming could steal the crowd.
