    SJU current schedule?

Does anyone know if the open gym schedule at SJU is still as follows?

    M-TH: 7 - 11 p.m.
    F: 7-10 p.m

What about the weekends? Is it still pretty empty?

    Thanks in advance!

currently SJSU open gym hours are as follows:

Wed. 7-11pm upstairs from SPXC 44B (take the stairs next to the womens locker room which is next to SPXC 44B)

    Fri. 7-11pm SPXC 44A

im going to try and get them to have open gym Thur as well, but it would be upstairs if they agree to it.

Does anyone know if they are open during the summer (May 20-August 30)? If so, are they open the same hours?

For posted Open Rec hours check the following link:

    http://www.as.sjsu.edu/ascr/openrec.jsp#schedule

I'm not sure if the above schedule is current, but my guess is that it is. If unsure about the current schedule or to find out about the summer schedule, there are a couple of phone #s & an email address that you can try at the following page:

    http://www.as.sjsu.edu/ascr/about_us.jsp

For weekend badminton (Fri thru Sun), check out Kevin Zeng's site (below). He has training on 2 to 3 courts & open gym on 3 (sometimes 4) courts during sessions that have not been reserved. I've not been to the weekend open gym for over a month but there were plenty of ppl playing open gym when I was there. The only session that was reserved (not open to the public) the last time that I was there was the Saturday 6:30pm session.

    http://www.vsconline.org/openGym.htm

The cost for the weekend is $3/session (no special price for SJSU students). To find out about upcoming gym closures on the weekends, get on Kevin's e-mailing list (can also be found at the same site).

Updated link - SJSU Open Rec

The above links to the SJSU website no longer work. This one works as of today (11-sep-2005):

Silly, silly Chikkubhai. If you were just a little wiser you'd know that if you want good badminton, you should just open your door and look around. So long as you have badminton, everything else in your life will fall into place. If badminton is available on a daily basis, you might consider playing more than once a week.

    always open for badminton but.....

Im just dyin to settle down and start badminton bonnie. I wish I could let people understand my perspective, if you think in my shoes, im the one who wouldnt leave any work left perfectly undone, so my publishable and applicable results are awaiting to open my dooors to an eternal longing to play badminton.

to put it in a sentence, i just wrote down that previous message just like that cos its a possible opportunity for me, alaska being better off. its also my health thats stoppin me from playin everyday, yet another important reason for not playin on a daily basis. no one would recollect that my current health was also because of workin harder late nights with stressed out and impelled badminton practices past year. so i wouldnt be silly enough to do that again bonnie. hope you understand my hope.

    striving yet again,
    kris with a k

that schedule is really off. SJSU has open gym on fridays and weekends. it ends at around 9 or 10pm. how do i know this? i go there a lot and they have a sign outside the window saying so. i dont know why that site has the wrong info, maybe thats only refering to the Badminton Club hours?
