Do you think LD play his usual game or has the urge to win the game just now? I don't think so...

LD and LCW will be outside contenders for the Olympic Gold next year. If Chen Long can avoid injury and maintain his form, he is the clear favorite to win the Olympics next year. Don't forget there are some up and coming players such as K. Srikanth, Momota, and Axelsen.

Frankly, if Lin Dan really wanted to, he could still make a final spurt to take the decider, instead he looked lost, his mind elsewhere.

I realized now, Lin Dan is not supposed to wear Yonex shorts but Li-Ning's.

After Lin Dan lost concentration in game 1, he handed the initiative to his opponent Tien Chen. When you have control, you don't let go till the last point is won. That is how he won so many big tournaments. I am disappointed with Lin Dan.

    Well played Tien Chen!

Said it concisely but very true, undeniable. One can't challenge the ultimate Law of Nature: the AGE thus the stamina, the endurance!

This match was slipped away from the aging God's hands when he lost the 1st game after leading comfortably at some occasion. The rest just for extending the match but the age was against him. Then the seemed lackluster Chou is the local hero today for the first leg of the SF.

Yet some progress for LD to make it info SF, much better than the two 1st round exits in two successive tournaments earlier :D

Having had a look at the performance of the key players here at Taipei GPG. Can anyone name the WC semifinalists? Any chance for smaller names to sneak in?

Lin Dan is only allowed to use Yonex racquet, put on Yonex socks, shoes and carry Yonex kit bag, that's all.

No point putting LCW and LD in the same sentence. Can't even compare them. Davydenko also could beat Nadal I guess hehe.

Such terrible excuses as usual hehe. No one seems to want to point out that CTC played horribly for at least 20-30% of the match too, especially at the beginning of the first set, and half of the third set.

Okay as usual Lee Yong dae / yoo yeon seong lost the match again. And not to mention this is only a grand prix gold event and not even the super series events. Yes they lose to Zhang Nan / fu haifeng. Sad too. Sad to say that the world no 1 ranking just didn't justify their ability anymore. They are no longer the winning pair that I know in the pass. I doubted if both of them can even win the world championship in Jakarta this year. Signs of decline have been clearly seen this year. Just wonder what has the world ranking no 1 did to improve their game this year.

Hopefully TTY will get her first win against LXR and we will have all 10 different participants tomorrow, provided INA XD wins.

I wanna see the new pair, Huang Yaqiong/Ma Jin to play in the finals after crawling from qualifications... can't recall if ever watch this combo in action :D

so many WD combinations from China, hard to track...I hope after WC they will just field the real combos set for Rio :p definitely love to see the actions of Tang/Tian!

NOW the BIG moment for INA XD: Praveen JORDAN/Debby SUSANTO [8]... can or will they deliver the Big Push forward with the absence from their senior ToLy and the very rare opportunity presented by the unexpected early exits from all CHN XD???:rolleyes:
