Yonex SHB-45EX: The shoe cost around 50US$. It gave away after 8 weeks (5 days a week play). See the pic where the stitching came off. Also it gave blisters in my right pinky toe (I am right handed). Yonex shoes all seem to have the leathery material on the front rather than the aerating mesh as seen in Asics and a lot of other brands. Will not recommend these. ASICS Gel Rocket 7: These cost around 75US$. Pretty comfortable especially the aerating mesh at the front of the shoe and the padding at the rear ankle region. No blisters yet. Been using for around 1 week now. However there seem to be heighten you a bit with slightly more heel to toe drop (or maybe due to extra material in the sole). Kind of changes the center of gravity. I am not sure but I feel less assured. Maybe its a sort of break in period. Will update post if required. Jury still out but better than 45EX for sure. I want to buy the Mizuno Wave Tornado but nowhere available in India. An Indian dealer reference/address would be much appreciated.
