    the wild goose, also one of the country's emblem, would be more appropriate

    Due to the different timing between the Asia, Europe, Africa and America zone, I was not able to watch any of the matches live. However I was able to check through the scores daily through the BWF website. Anyway thanks to holhm22 for keeping us updated through this forum. Anyway I guess Lee Chong Wei should be able to sail through to the finals. Also thanks to holhm22 for uploading the videos of the matches online via youtube so I was able to watch the matches later. Thanks a lot for your effort.

    The US Open XD Final pairings are playing in Rd2. Whoever wins will surely make it to the finals.

    Thank you! I'll also be recording Lee Chong Wei (of course) VS Vincent Wong Wing Ki today. Been going through a bumpy ride with YouTube; people already have stolen my videos! Anyways thanks for the support!

    The logo on the back of the T shirt is too small!

    Vincent fights and claws his way in the 2nd game to take a set off of LCW. Great finish to the 2nd game.

    Vincent Wong WK grabbed second game, 22-20 with his attacking smashes and forced rubber games.

    It's pretty lopsided match at decider, a comprehensive 21-10 for Lee CW.

    QUARTERFINALS (02.00pm local time, 2 courts) => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=D44D9F8D-9646-49A5-BF0E-C98068AF6E65

    Two US Open rematches in MS happen at this stage, Lee CW v Praneeth and Hsu JH v Angus Ng KL, will it be same or reversal outcome this time? An intriguing tie of bottom half draw, Takuma Ueda will up against Xue Song, the Japanese player potentially will trouble second seed Chinese youngster and one more tie will pit top-seed Marc Zwiebler v Ajay Jayaram.

    Japanese ladies stamp their authority here, 2 semifinal spots have been assured from lower half of draw, Ohori v Takahashi and Hashimoto v Imbabeppu. Home hopeful Michelle Li is expected to through and most likely will take on Minatsu Mitani who gets Taiwanese teen Lee Chia Hsin at last eight.

    Top-seed Adistia/Gunawan still continue their convincing run and will find tricky test, TPE combo Liao MC/Tseng MH. Taiwanese MD pairs do well here as they have four pairs at quarterfinal, one of them the qualifier Lee JH/Lee Y who disposed Attri/Reddy will take on recent US Open winner Li JH/Liu YC.

    Without Chinese WD presence, the frontrunners will be either Matsuo/Naito or world #8 Muskens/Piek to crown title here. In HKG v IND clash, Gutta/Ponnappa and Poon LY/Tse YS are favoured to prevail.

    Fuchs/Michels and Reginald Lee CH/Chau HW advanced to quarterfinal round in contrast fashion as top-seed had easy breath to destroy TPE XD while second seed HKG pair got a scare by Chinese youngsters Huang KX/Huang DP in very close battle 19-21 / 21-19 / 22-20. The top three seeds and INA Adistia/Marissa are predicted to progress.

    Here's the background for the Maple Leaf http://www.pch.gc.ca/eng/1363626184104/1363626227047
    I'm a proud Canadian and happy enough with the leaf.
    From a national animal symbol standpoint - it's always been the beaver, however debate is continuous as to whether the polar bear or Canada geese should ever replace it. It's ongoing...

    Yeah, exactly! Our national animal debate... who really knows. But using a wild goose instead of a maple leaf would look extremely out of place most of the time.

    I'm Canadian too, but the maple leaf is on too much things, we have other things - though the tree itself is indeed beautiful
