    Good day badminton players,

Met a problem of choosing a racquet to replace my Muscle Power 99, as the stringer broke it, and he ain't responsible for it, therefore thinking to get a new one. So what are the options similar to Muscle Power 99??

Hope to hear from you guys soon.

I believe the Yonex Arcsaber range replaced the muscle power range, correct me if I am wrong... but I would suggest you demo the arcsaber 10/11. They have similar bp and a slight weight on the head too.

i did try the arc saber 11 recently, but i find the head kinda heavy, and a big strain to the arm. to be exact i tried yesterday. I find don't have the right feel. Partly due to always using it for the past 10 years till it stop manufacturing, but can't seems to get the right feel. any other brands do you have advice on to replace it?

I played a few years with the MP99 although it is a long time ago. To me it was quite a stiff, even balanced (slight weight to the head) racket. ArcS11 might be similar balance wise, but feel is different. Much softer.
The last 6 years I play with Victor SW35 and when first playing with this racket I thought is was kinda similar to the MP99. Perhaps the SW35 is a little bit stiffer and a little bit head heavier. But this racket is hard to get now, although I have 2 brand new ones ;)

oh that racquet. that is a pretty good one. i did try a few times, i could say just like what u describe. it is similar but kinda stiff and heavy headed.
yea that racquet is pretty rare now.
thanks though for the advice. but cant seem to get one close to it.
    any other ideas ??
ps: I even tried nanoray z speed, in which i thought could be close, but it wasn't even close to it at all. lol

Why not try arcsaber 5 ? Also a rare racket only available during warehouse sales which i got two of it . MP99 I tried swing is a medium stiff racket compare to mp100 which my gd friend using past 15 years. Arc5 is also medium stiff and slight head heavy but not much .. Slightly softer than Arc10 & 11 .

The closest racquet to the MP99 I have tried is the Arcsaber 8DX. But it is no longer made anymore. Some shops may still have it though.

    Arc5 is a 3UG5 which I got . Should be same as MP99 . purely recommendation .
Note no racket models exactly same feel even though paper spec claimed it's the same spec .. Example : Arc7 is medium same as Arc5 ..I did use Arc7 (1st and 2th Gen) , obviously Arc5 is stiffer ..closer to MP99 ..
