As predicted, the match will go down to the wire. INA second MD, Gideon/Sukamuljo levels 2-2 after def. Mak HC/Teo KS, 21-10 / 21-13.

arif was so talented back in his junior days, he matched CL. He's still good, but why is CL so far ahead?

This guy is hopeless... 10-1 up and then 20-14 up, then lost. He should just hang up his racket for good.

Here is a summary of the game.
I was trying to be fair to both teams.
Okay earlier on Malaysia women team won and they sure will enter the finals. This result jolted and shocked me. Malaysia really performed beyond expectations to win.

This time for men team Malaysia lost 2-3 to Indonesia. to be honest from the start Indonesia is expected to win this match. Indonesia is a well balanced team with good MS and MD to be honest. And the plus point here is all the Indonesia players are all so till with so much of advantage here. Sorry but I have to say this Malaysia players are short especially Chong Wei feng and arif. Nothing to worry here. Indonesia should win but if Malaysia win it is a plus points.

So to all the Indonesian and Malaysian out there don't feel sad. It is equal now. Malaysia women team won unexpectedly and Indonesia men team won just as expected.

Height isn't his issue... he's got the mental toughness of a 10 year old schoolgirl. He should be ashamed that he's on the same team as Lee Chong Wei...

Hi Malaysians out there don't blame the players for losing. They have tried their best. They felt sad too. You know I saw the sad face and disappointed face of tan wee Kong. I just thought he would have cried out. He felt so sad. My friend said tan wee Kong still felt very sad and he actually blamed himself non stop for Malaysia lost today. Poor guy. My friend said he saw him rushing out after he lost. My friend said he must have rushed out to cry after he lost. Pitiful the Malaysian players are under so much stress to perform today.

Throughout the whole match I realised that tan wee kiong looked quite sad and stressed up. His partner got v shem did a good job and tell him hey its okay relax. No worries. See so much expectations on the players and they ended up feeling so stress up.

So the lesson today is trust the young players for team competition.

MAS WS trusted their young singles players, even younger than INA WS.

And INA trusted their young MD players and MS players

Yeah... it's not the players. It's the politics and mismanagement that can turn world junior champs into 10 year old schoolgirls.

and it means a new era has come, a bit sad that ive been following badminton since lin dan, tony gunawan, cai yun, jung jae sung and now some of them have retired and the other soon.

hope too see more excitement in the future like good old days.

Great job to Indonesia... their skill level and creativity is probably tops in the world, especially the men's doubles.

Like many here in Singapore, I was born in Malaysia but have been in Singapore for a long long time... it's a wonderful country to call home.

Singapore badminton needs a bit more maturity though, although the men's team did well to narrowly lose to Thailand who are much stronger on paper. I do hope Derek Wong does well in the individual events; he did really well at the Commonwealth Games last year, so hope he gets at least a silver medal here.

The Singapore WD and MD are also pretty good... although they've dropped in for recently. Again, hope they can bag at least a silver in the individual events.
