When I a playing singles for more than a hour, both feet start to hurt at the bottom/inner side of the foot ca. 5cm below the big toe.
Is this normal, or should I buy new shoes?
The skin at this place already got pretty thick and hard around, and I can pull of small stripes of skin.

Badminton is very asymmetric in terms of stress on your feet. If the problem was down to badminton I would not expect the same issue to be on both feet.

Go and talk to your physician!

Check if you have collapsed arches on both feet, if you do then you may consider orthotic sports insoles as inserts in your shoes.

Get a nice pair of insoles, they will help. Do a search for something like "Superfeet" in the forum.

My left feet is a bit longer and more flat than my right foot, so I guess it must be the shoes when it hurts on both of them.
Ordered SHB 02 now since my current shoes also started smelling.

I bought two different sized pairs now, better spend a bit more money than ruining your health by wearing a shoe that doesn't fit 100%.

interesting because three people advised the problem could be flat feet, nobody advised a new shoe and you bought new shoes! :D

But what is important is the effect. Do your feet still hurt after an hour?

Choose some light weight shoes for your feet. it hurts when the shoes quality is very poor or one other thing is that you playing some hard shots while playing. so before starting play warm up your body first and than after start.
