If I get MP99 with a good string for control like Cyber Natural or BG88ti.... That would be so awesome :p

Get it, it's great. I'm using it right now for singles in league. Very fast and powerful racquet.

Good for singles and doubles so don't worry.

It's even balanced... So I guess it works for both. But compare it to a singles racquet like AT700, is MP99 lack in power? Or is it still good?

It's all about the player, not the racquet.

But I prefer mp99 since it looks nicer and it's an all around racquet. Great racquet, mines is a 3u version, I didn't know that there was a 2u when i bought it. :crying: I like heavy racquets.

I thought about this question before
then I decided to brought an AT 700, instead of MP99
AT 700 gives me more control over the bird....
and I already have a carbonex 30ms, which is similar to Mp99...
    so....;)

i thought i'd just throw in something totally random :D it may or may not help

i haven't used either racket, but from what i gather:
AT700 is a singles oriented racket, so i would assume its a little slower in terms of manueverability than the MP99. The MP 99, being even balanced and all, is a great all round racket. if you find that it lacks a little in power, people have recommended the AT800DE. it is another great all round racket (also the one i own currently :D ) but has a little more power than the MP 99 and a little less control (according to fellow BC'ers, as i have not tried MP99 before) so that could be a good alternative. AT800DE is a doubles oriented racket, and not too bad for singles either.. i guess. if you want something like AT700 in terms of power, but you play some doubles as well, you can try the AT800OF, its like a sledgehammer :D.

and i think its from this thread.. MP100 is a very powerful racket, but many argue that Ti-10 has the most power ;)

I've both (in fact, I've two AT700 and 6-7 MP9x - some 90 and some 99). Imo, it all depends on your play style and your level (sorry for my franky speaking). If you aren't sure a head heavy balance offensive racket is suitable to you or not, I also suggest you to go for MP99 (I recommend 3U version).

These two rackets are very different, I'm sure that you can notice the differences immediately when hold them on hand, even without playing with them.

    p.s. I think Ti-10 is more powerful than MP100. :)

Go for Mp99. I have both rackets, and my conclusion is Mp99 rules. At700 is powerful though, u can generate a lot of power with it(more then 99). But I found that At700 has a lack of precision. When u hit the bird, the flight direction is moved because of a flexible impact of the racket(hope it's not only my racket that has a problem:D ), the feeling is not solid enough. But with the Mp99, I have no problem with it and it is lot more solid when u hit. hope that helps!
