If RI plays like this at the World Champs, I don't think even peak CM can beat her. But it will be an epic battle.

    Intanon - Hashimoto 21-11, 21-10 in 0:42

What a relatively easy match for RI. It seems her most challenge was in the SF against WSX.
Or, possibly Hashimoto spent too much against WYH yesterday, only residual of herself today.

Anyhow, congratz Intanon for the victory!

And my 2nd prediction hits again ;)

Your hope may come true. PBSI has sent Firman and Jonathan on SC this year. They may repeat it again

Her hardest match was against Busanan in R16 by far. 21-19, 21-16.

Yes, Chen Jin. He looked nonplussed to me, esp when WY was devastating in G2,winning 21-9, and had a good start in G3, 7-1, before cracking up in the latter half.

It appeared to me WYH was like in a rush to finish her opponent off, attacking at every half-chance when I thought she should be constructing the rally and attacking at the right time. I noticed she also looked susceptible to the opponent's drop shots once too often, not to mention her fluctuating form throughout the match, brilliant one minute, mediocre the next, and alternating.

If Yui had played like this against WYH yesterday, we would be seeing WYH vs IR Final today. A match too many for Yui or a flash in the pan?

Maybe not, because I think Yui at her best is better than Nozomi and Akane; it's more a question of consistency.

Some of the fans in stadium chant: Cina Curang, in repeat and melodic tempo, mean China is cheating

Yui had to overspend to win that match against WYH that's inevitably taking her tolls on today's match. The same thing happened on WSX, she spent too much to beat SN in the QF, costed her dearly in the SF match against the much fresher RI. RI just has her days in this tournament.

Dude, no excuses please. You are one of the few who even mention this. And repeatedly too. Can't you see that RI is on fire?

The supporters there are still bearing the much ill-feels watching the home favorites being beaten up by the CHN squad... for these reasons, they're quite understandable
