Yup sunriseclick is selling it at $199 unstrung. Add the cost of string and delivery prolly will bring you to $240. I bought mine at Chau Beng at around this price, with a peace of mind. And i think the reason of the price drop is due to the racket being too specialised. It's rly a dbls rackets, the sound is dull, color is dull. Not really everyone's cup of tea. Sales in shops are not doing very well either. But that doesnt mean the racket is not good. It is rly awesome if you use it for the right game, and know how to utilise its maximum capabilities.
really good racket for doubles, very easy too maneuver, smashes, attacks and flat exchanges faster, also very good control...currently using this racket for doubles as main racket and VTZF for singles....
This is my personal feeling for this racket. my main racket is Nanoray 900, my second racket is an arc 11. I quite agree with the point made by jasonyjw (page 13). I'm using BG66 UM 26 Lbs there all my rackets. this racket is really Even Balance, compared to nr800 (slightly in handle), and arc11 (slightly in head) if I comparte the NR900, nr800, Arc11 Stifness: NR900> Nr800> Arc11 (NR900 is clearly more rigid than the Nr800) Defense: NR900 Nr800 => Arc11 (2 Nanoray are easy to move) Drives: NR900> Nr800> Arc 11 (I do not know how to explain it, but on the drive, shuttle out like a ball racquet gently and quickly slowed at the end of the race, the shuttle does not come out !!) Smashes: Nr800> Arc11> NR900 (This is the point Faigle compared to other rackets I use, I can send very lours smash with my N800, but because of the rigitidé I feel that my smash are fast moin with NR900, but it must be that I can play well, to get used to the racket) Comfortablility Level: Nr800> NR900> Arc11 Forgivness: Arc 11> Nr800> Nr 900 (With 900 Nr: you shoulds hit from downtown to-have a decent shot, and NR800 ARc 11 are a little more forgiving, so if you are late on your shot and you dont hit in center,it can be hard time with NR 900) This is just my personal opinion.
I used to own the Arcsaber 100 which is just a repainted Arc 7 and I did get to play with 900 often. I have to say I felt that the Arc 7 is heavier.
I own a arc 7 and was testing a nanoray 900 for a bit. Arc7 is head heavier, but I also found the arc 7 more forgiving, and that the nr 900 had better smashes (maybe just me?).
wow this racket is a winner! proven to bring some athletes to top podium with Angga/Ricky being the latest in SIngapore Open both using NR900, Setiawan/Ahsan head to head with LYD/YYS is now 3-0 since they moved to NR900, and Saina Nehwal claimed number 1 spot in WS also with this racket
Anyone know if this racket will get a new paint job? I love the racket, but the colors are so dull and boring. Hopefully it'll go to a matte color scheme.
That's great... For some reason my 416L-2 needed to be cut into 2 pcs to fit my NR800, and 416L-4 3 pcs to fit a VT80.
