Tang Yuanting's defence is superb! The JPN pair can't get through.

When Saina plays fearless, confident badminton she plays extremely well and wins the difficult moments. When self doubts creep in she becomes vulnerable and plays poorly.
On her day she can beat anyone, when she is vulnerable she is beatable. She needs to build her mental toughness and big match temperament. She has at least 3 years to win some big titles. Against Wang Yihan, LXR and Marin, she needs more self belief. Which Saina will turn up against Wang S. today?:D

Srikanth and PV Sindhu vary from top 10 players to top 100 players. They need another 3 years on the circuit to build tactical awareness and consistency. Anything they win in the next 3 years is a bonus.:)

Being an Indian badminton player fan is a roller coaster ride. They can take you to the pinnacle of glory and flounder at the very bottom. Having high expectations leads to more disappointments. I have learned to enjoy their good moments and ignore the erratic ones.
Be pleasantly surprised when they win and just enjoy the good moments when they lose.:D

cuz their smashes just couldn't get through. Found no ways to penetrate the CHN pair's defences, meanwhile their own defences had many holes.

The reigning world champion has no idea to block fast and furious new Chinese combo, 21-16 / 21-12 for Liu C/Lu K.

Damn, That was not what I hoped to see after waking up early to watch...

Ko/Shin lose against a new, on fire chn pair. Could become a good combo, but also a one hit wonder like most other chn pairs.
Koo/Tan didn´t get into the match in the first. Now it is better, but Tan still looks as he hasnt settled...
