Hi, I am a new comer. I want to buy a YONEX raquet. But I want to know, 1) How to identify whether it's authentic? 2) What does the serial numbers mean? Can we find its production date from them? 3)Is there any easy way(like online registration) to identify its authenticity? Thanks

ya man these 2 questions are ALL OVER the forum...lol i kinda got upset when i stumbled across this one..
Yeah well, what can you search for? If you search for something like "authentic racquet" or something, you'll get hundreds of results. It's either post a thread like this, or look through hundreds of results...
Or one can improve the "search skills". I have posted a thread on how should people use search function before. For example, if you are looking for a MP-100, there are many ways of searching: "MP100" "MP-100" "Muscle Power 100" .....and so on. If you don't find what you want, you should try again with different strings, not just give up right away and ask for help.
The key word in searching for how to tell if a racquet is real or not would be "authentic" or "geniune" The results you get from searching those words will display the threads that contains those words. Basically it'll display a whole list of threads because those words have been mentioned in alot of threads.
I agree that this particular search can be confusing. A lot of the knowledge we have is in a thread called "Post your Yonex Serial Number here"
