Looks like your Friday group is a good day to say hello to all our BC friends. I better come by sooner. But you seem to have so many venues and times, Netasia. Where, when, and how can I make a visit??? Anyway thanks in advance.
I have to say, Netasia's Friday session is one of the best session in Singapore for recreational yet competitive play. The atmosphere is just very lively Too bad we only have the courts until 22nd April I better go and see if we can use the Bishan Community Club courts... keep forgetting hehehe
I enjoy the friday night session ... very good courts ... when you smash ... you can hear the crispy sound ... It would even be perfect if we can change the shuttles to something which are more reliable and durable :crying:
actually the protech shuttles are pretty decent arent they? they fly normally and durable enough. you can always change shuttles if u break them too fast anyway hehehe just dont tell Michael
Loh, let me know when you dropping by. Have not played for quite some time due to work commitment. Need to play leisurely just for exercising.
Kaffie, I thought you'll never show yourself again! Bur how nice to hear from you again. Well, I'm afraid you're too slow as I visited the Netasia 'Gang' last Friday. But I wasn't in my badminton gear and instead shot some pics of the group, which I'll post later. You must join them and get back to your favourite exercise. Contact Netasia.
Really busy nowadays. Presently attached to Institute of Mental Health - Woodbridge Hospital not as a patient of course. You wanna dropby again this friday Loh? Bring your badminton gears

Netasia's Friday Group It was a bird hall of Eagles, Falcons, Hawks, Robins and Swifts. Surrounded up high by athletes in various poses in their repective sports, these birds of prey as well as of predators were all netted by this Asian of a bespectacled man called Netasia. He advertised in the BC Forum in January and has now entrapped around 20 of his all too eager shuttlers with his ready-made cage: a 3-court hall tucked away in a little corner in Braddel, the Braddel-Westlake Secondary School. The hall is cosy with its wooden structures and floor, supported by a huge wooden stage as a resting place for tired bodies. So every Friday evening, these birdmen pay pilgrimage to Bird Hall, led by IT expert, Netasia. Then there is Sealman, an expert in insurance, whose side-benefits include business trips to Jakarta, where he witnessed the Thomas Cup matches last year as well as the Taiwan Open. Among them is Malaysian Kwong, employed by a Singapore Government entity and doing his Phd in cancer research at the NUS. There are a few Indonesians including the ever-popular Iwan and Jurong Twister and his cousin. Mongoose leads the local pack with newcomer Surge and his girlfriend, WhyrlWynd, Jun Wei and others joining in the fun. Netasia proudly proclaims that about 50% of his team are members of BC as well. Whilst he would like to have more people join him, space and time do not permit. So now he has to be very selective and Kaffie, who showed interest recently, may just about qualify. I hope the other BC badminton groups in Singapore are as organized as Netasia's team so that the day may come when we can have a BC Singapore Championships. Perhaps Jurong East should be a good candidate for my next visit???
wah my shirt looks so big when I was standing to receive the serve maybe I can go sky diving with it time to put on more weight...
