    Hi,
I fractured my ankle towards the end of October playing badminton and I want to get back to playing soon. Im pretty sure I will need a brace to help with strengthening and wondered if anyone had experience? I have done a fair bit of research and found the A60 aircast (same ones that Andy Murray has on both ankles). Has anyone tried this or suggest any alternatives?

    Cheers

    Hi there,

Know this is a slightly late reply but I also fractured by ankle a while back and started using a brace. The best one I found was the Mc David Ankle Guard, Andy Murray uses the same ones when he plays tennis.

However, to be honest, I prefer taping. If you can get a certified physio to tape your ankles it's 100 times more effective than any brace out there in the market. Additionally, and this might not be typical advice, but try yoga. I was a non believer but it's totally helped in strengthening my ankles and increasing it's flexibility.

Wish you a speed recover my friend!
